Prole Art Threat or Middle Class Revolt? Part Three - Exit Through The Gift Shop (2010)

The entire movie is available on Youtube! How great is that?!?!?

…As is this! From just before Exit Through the Gift Shop, Beautiful Losers is a more conventional look at the street art world

…and this one’s really interesting. David Choe was also a compelling guest on Rogan a while back…

… but I digress. Let’s get back to the subject in hand..

Mr Brainwash to you!

Thierry Guetta became Mr. Brainwash when he became an artist, and he made a movie called Life Remote Control.

Thierry Guetta’s attempt at making a film about street art ended up as just a fragment. In Exit Through the Gift Shop, he comes across as kind of a caricature, which instantly makes me suspicious, as he’s a much more rounded character in the interviews that follow…

There are two parts to this extremely interesting trip home for Mr Brainwash, it’s well worth a look.

Say what you like about Mr Brainwash, he doesn’t need any lessons on how to give an interview.

Maybe the last word belongs to Shepard Fairey… notice the use of hard-working assistants in this clip.
